Lord Hydronium has raised an interesting concern about Creatures by Location categories. His concern is that if we include introduced creatures in such categories, it will mislead users into thinking they are native species. He has proposed this be put up for discussion as to how to handle this.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
One posibility I have considered is making a subcategory for introduced species.

- That sounds like a reasonable idea --Jinzler 21:45, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- While that is a logical and practical idea, some smaller categories may be split into two even smaller ones, maybe even to the point of having only 2 or 3 pages in them. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 09:54, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
- I don't mind keeping both indigenous and introduced species in the same category. --Eyrezer 18:35, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Per Eyrezer. —Xwing328(Talk) 00:04, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
- It's the same thing we do with people; we don't distinguish between "born on Coruscant" and "living on Coruscant" -- and we're right not to, since even those people we're told are "from Coruscant" might really have moved there when they were three, and Krayt dragons might actually be native to Zizzosuzzimandia and were introduced to Tatooine by the Rakata. It's not a meaningful enough distinction to feel the need to categorize. Havac 17:57, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- I'm with Havac on this one. It would be a good idea to do it if we knew for a fact where all of the species were from natively, but sense we don't, and since we can't guess or make it up, then we can't put the labels. DarthDragon164Dragon's Lair 23:04, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
