Forums > Senate Hall archive > SH Archive/Question about putting engines in infoboxes when no type is given
Recently, the anonymous user 208.123.41.4 has been adding things like "main engines" and "secondary engines" into ship infoboxes. I have no problem with this, but I was under the impression that only the specific type of engine and amount should be put in the relevant place. So, should we just put things like "main engines" into that field when the type of engine is unknown, or should we leave it blank? Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 19:41, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- If it is unknown, then it should be left blank. I feel that "Main engines" aren't really an "engine type," while (using the TIE/ln starfighter page as an example) SFS P-s4 twin ion engines are. --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 06:19, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you, Jedimca0. I could use some help if you have the time. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 11:06, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. I have time, what do you need help with? --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 11:51, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, removing "main engines (#)" and "secondary engines (#)" from ship articles. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 19:15, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
