Free Comic Book Day

Free Comic Book Day is an annual day when comic book retailers give out free one-shot issues. It began in 2002 and is held on the first Saturday in May.

Dark Horse Comics, IDW Publishing, and Viz Media have released various Star Wars comics on Free Comic Book Day.
