Freeno was a male Er'Kit miner who worked at an aurodium mine on the planet Elphrona during the High Republic Era. One day, while attempting to unearth a valuable kantak crystal, Freeno caused a collapse in the mine. He would have died in the cave if not for the intercession of Jedi Bell Zettifar and Loden Greatstorm, who urged the Er'Kit to consider less selfish paths in the future.[1]
