The Froffli species were a New Republic member race easily recognized by their prominent hair-spurs. While many Humans found their appearance ridiculous, others (such as Talon Karrde's associate Chin) arranged their own hair in a similar fashion.
Froffli culture was quite vindictive. During the Caamas Document crisis, they were among the first to demand that the Bothans pay the Caamasi reparations. This was partly because they wanted justice for the Caamasi, and partly because Bothan trade policy since about 4 ABY had taken a heavy toll on Froffli industry.
