The Fromprath were a sentient, snakelike, six-armed species that lived in the galaxy. Hundreds of years^[1] before 3 BBY,^[2] the Fromprath lived on Dathomir but were forced to live in exile away from the planet after being forced out by the Dathomirians.^[1] Their exploitation of the natural resources of the planet caused the Nightsisters to form a symbiotic alliance with rancors, in order to drive out the colonizers.^[3]
