A Full-Spectrum Transceiver (FST) was a type of sensor device which used a variety of scanners to detect all types of objects, energies and fields, giving them then name "universal sensors." However their accuracy at detecting objects, particularly at long range, was proportional to the size of the FST's receptor dish.[1] FSTs were, among others, equipped in the Galactic Empire's IGV-55 surveillance vessels as part of their main sensor package.[2]
