A funeral in the Jedi Temple

A funeral was a ceremony for the burial or cremation of the deceased. At Padmé Amidala's funeral, her parents and sister wore dark clothing to reflect their sadness and mourning of her death. Members of the Jedi Order had humble funerals, as they did not fear death or value worldly possessions. Jedi attendees wore their usual daily attire, while non-Jedi guests, including even honorable ones, wore modest clothing out of respect.[1]
