Futhark was an ancient script of the Naboo, the human inhabitants of the planet of the same name. By the time of the Invasion of Naboo, it was still used by royalty, the nobility, and the government, as well as by the military to identify spaceships. The common folk, however, used the more recent futhork script for informal day-to-day communication.[1]

Futhork character were painted on the side of the N-1 starfighter piloted by Anakin Skywalker during the Battle of Naboo.[2] Decades later, Futhork writing on the side of Din Djarin's N-1 starfighter said "Bheylic ZF".[3]
