The Galactic Courts of Justice, usually referred to just as the Courts Building, Galactic Court, Courts of Justice Building or Imperial Courts[1] was a building on Coruscant that housed the Galactic Republic and Galactic Empire Supreme Court as well as possibly the lesser Regional Courts. Under the New Republic and Galactic Federation of Free Alliances the building housed the Court of Justice.
History[]
The Courts of Justice Building was located in the Plains of Coruscant.[2]
When the New Republic captured Coruscant the Supreme Court was replaced by the Court of Justice. The trial of Rogue Squadron pilot Tycho Celchu was tried there.[3]
During the Galactic Alliance, the building was the site of the trial of Luke Skywalker within the Ninth Hall of Justice.[4] The building also housed the High Court chamber.[5]
