"I'm on the Empire's Most Wanted list!"

A "Most Wanted" list was maintained by the Galactic Empire during its reign over the galaxy. It contained the names of individuals wanted by the Empire. After she publicly spoke out against Emperor Palpatine and addressed him as a "lying executioner," Senator Mon Mothma immediately rocketed to the top of the "Most Wanted" list.^[2] Rebel leader Saw Gerrera was also on the most wanted list and for a time was the most wanted criminal in the galaxy as a result of what New Republic police commissioner Exantor Divo later described as "rampant terrorist strikes" which "resulted in atrocious civilian casualties." After his starship, the Millennium Falcon was identified as the YT-1300 light freighter that had taken part in the destruction of the Death Star, smuggler Han Solo's name was added to the Empire's most wanted.^[3]
