In 3900 BBY, the Galactic Senate of the Republic convened to elect a new Supreme Chancellor to lead the democratic government. Vaner Shan, the son of famed Jedi Bastila Shan and Revan, ran for this election, with his upbringing during the chaotic aftermath of the Great Sith Wars playing a key role in his running for Supreme Chancellor.[1]
