A detachment of Imperial clone shock troopers guarded the Galactic Senate Building, with Clone Commander CC-4477 "Thire" serving as its commanding officer.[1] Following the Proclamation of the New Order and the transformation of the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire,[3] Commander Thire and his troopers were ordered to search for Jedi Grand Master Yoda[1] in the moments after his duel with Galactic Emperor Darth Sidious.[3] Thire was then commanded to accompany the Emperor to retrieve the seriously injured Darth Vader[1] on Mustafar, taking a squad of his men.[2]
