Meeting up with Dok-Ondar[]

"What matters is that we don't lose our audience with Dok-Ondar."
―Kendoh Voss[3]
Simpi in a tank

Simpi in a tank.

While walking through the streets of Black Spire Outpost, bounty hunter Remex Io buys a meiloorun juice from 8D-J8. A kid runs by and tries to steal food from the Clawdite but to no avail. Remex tells the kid that he will starve to death if he continues to do poorly when stealing. But at the same time a First Order shuttle comes in overhead. Inside the shuttle a First Order stormtrooper sergeant tells lieutenant Agnon that there are Resistance scum hiding on Batuu and that they will "smoke them out."[4]

Back on Black Spire Outpost, Remex Io takes the form of a human and joins the rest of his gang. Kendoh Voss reminds Remex not to lose their audience with Dok-Ondar. When the gang arrives at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities, Dok-Ondar is displeased with their late arrival and wishes to not have his time wasted any longer. Kendoh then talks about how Ondar has the greatest collection of "rare relics in the known galaxy." At the same time fellow gang member Wooro taps on a container that lights up with a sarlacc named Simpi inside. Kendoh's gang all get worried, but the calm Dok-Ondar says that the sarlacc is a beauty and begins to tell the story of how the smuggler he hired retrieved it.[5]

A smuggler's run[]

"But Dok is paying a good amount of credits for this "bad idea.""
―Han Solo[3]

Han Solo and his Wookiee co-pilot, Chewbacca, arrive on I'vorcia Prime to collect a baby sarlacc for Dok-Ondar. Han lands the Millennium Falcon in the I'vorcia Prime Preserve and meets with the galaxy's biggest expert on sarlaccs, Doctor Genzhor. But Solo is met by Genzhor's assistant, Ooris, who leads Han to the pits where the sarlaccs are located. During their walk to the pits, Ooris talks about a battle that took place on the planet, in which the Galactic Empire ravaged the planet's ecosystem but it was later turned into a nature reserve where Imperial officers hunt the exotic animals of the planet. When the group arrives at the sarlacc pits, Han Solo doesn't find them appealing to look at, but then Ooris betrays Han and pushes him into the pits, while the Dowutin workers stun Chewbacca, trying to get him into the pits with Han. Han lands right near a pit and shoots at Ooris. Ooris tells Han that he was going to take his ship and its codes to escape the planet with enough frozen sarlacc spores to make him rich. Then one of the workers falls into the pits with Han but is eaten by a baby sarlacc. Another baby sarlacc jumps out from the ground to attack the smuggler, but Han uses a stun stick to neutralize it.

Back on the the deck, Chewbacca manages to throw a Dowutin into a sarlacc pit, while getting thrown near the pits himself. Chewbacca is then attacked by a Dowutin worker, but he dodges some of his blaster fire and kills the worker with his bowcaster. Han tells Chewbacca to retake the Falcon from Ooris while he fights off two baby sarlaccs at the edge of a cliff. Han dodgeds one of the sarlaccs, causing it to fall to its death, but before the other one can attack Solo, Chewbacca arrives in the Millennium Falcon to pick him up with a screaming Ooris dangling from the ship.

Back at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities, Han and Chewbacca bring the sarlacc to Dok-Ondar. Ondar is reluctant to pay the Corellian smuggler and his Wookiee counterpart more than what one sarlacc is worth, but Han reassures him there was only one sarlacc that they found.

Present day on Batuu[]

"There are some things even Dok-Ondar will not traffic."
―Dok-Ondar[3]

Back on Batuu, Kendoh Voss tells Dok-Ondar that they are in the market for something more exotic and hands a tablet over to the Ithorian. Still disguised, Remex Io places a hidden cam droid on a table before Dok-Ondar tells them all to leave. As they walk away from the antique shop, Kendoh Voss states that Ondar has taken the bait. Back at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities, Dok-Ondar's assistant Tohago is surprised that a mysterious weapon can show up when it had been thought to be lost, to which Dok-Ondar states that they cannot allow the weapon to fall into the wrong hands.[6]
