Gale was a male Jedi Knight and Lord of a series of constituent planets who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the final decades of the wars with the new Sith Empire. During one of the clashes Jedi Kiel Charny, Gale's forces were able to silence the gun turrets of the Sith army. Despite these successes, Lord Gale was struck down during the battle, perishing on the muddy world with so many of his brethren.[1] Along with all the monuments and statues built to commemorate the fallen, Gale and several other Jedi were memorialized by the Republic through the naming of a ninth planet in the Ruusan system in honor of his sacrifice.[2]
