Ganzer was a male bartender at the Canto Casino in the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica. He was a close friend of fellow employee Kaljach Sonmi and witnessed him defeat the gambler Orisha Okum in a game of pazaak.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Ganzer first appeared in the short story The Ride by John Jackson Miller. He was named after the character Binzer in the 1970's television show Vega$, who served as a main support of the show's protagonist, much like Ganzer acts to Kaljach Sonmi in The Ride.[3]
