Gary Rydstrom is an American sound designer and film director who has won seven Academy Awards for his sound work on films, including Jurassic Park (1993), Titanic (1997), and Saving Private Ryan (1998). Aside from his work on Star Wars, Rydstrom worked on various other Lucasfilm productions; He served as audio technician for Indiana Jones and the Template of Doom (1984), sound designer for Captain EO (1986) and Willow (1988), and director for Strange Magic (2015). Rydstrom also worked on the Star Wars spoof Spaceballs.
He is also one of the members of the Intellectual Property Development Group.[1]
