A display of lightsabers and skulls inside the Garyn Raider Base
The Garyn Raider Base was a bunker located a considerable distance south of the city Narmle, in a mountainous region of Naboo's swamp moon of Rori during the time of the Galactic Civil War. The base was controlled by a resistance group known as the Garyn Raiders. Sometime following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, Lieutenant Orden Tarc of the Royal Naboo Security Forces tasked a spacer with investigating a series of cybernetic lab break-ins, including one lab in Narmle. The male Aqualish by the name of Ponda Baba was ultimately implicated in the break-ins. After the spacer investigated the Garyn Raider base, it was concluded that Ponda Baba came to them for assistance, but found his small offer of credits to be laughable. The Garyn Raider base was staffed by a number of Raiders known as "shivs," and included a display area consisting of four lightsabers and skulls. The base was located a relatively short distance away from a mysterious Jedi shrine.[1]

The Garyn Raider Base was a location in the 2003 massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, prior to the game's closure on December 15, 2011.[1][2]
