- "May the Gaseous Cloud watch over us."
- ―Letter signed by the Lingsnots
The Gaseous Cloud was a deity worshiped by the Lingsnot family. One would request that the deity watched over the individual or its family members. The Lingsnots once mentioned the Gaseous Cloud in a written letter, wishing for the entity to look after them when Ciption Lingsnot went for his Transport License on Conception Day.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Gaseous Cloud was mentioned in a letter from the Lingsnots, written by Bob Carrau for the 1993 book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, a publication that combines creature designs and photographs from various projects of George Lucas, creator of the Star Wars franchise, with original text by Carrau.[1] Lucasfilm employee Leland Chee, who maintains the Holocron continuity database, has indicated that information contained in the book is non-canonical.[2]
