Gaurick was a planet in the Corporate Sector. It was controlled by a religious cult, with leaders known as muftis.
Han Solo and his partner Chewbacca were hired to deliver chak-root to workers on Gaurick; the smugglers were almost taken captive when some of the workers had religious objections to the substance.
