Geeot Nuetia was an individual that lived in Coronet City on Corellia at the time of the Galactic Civil War. In 1 ABY Nuetia went on a hunting trip to Dathomir. When he returned, he told newspapers a story about 50 meter tall spiders that attacked him on Dathomir. One journalist went to Dathomir to learn more about the creature but the only pieces he found were comparable to a spider that was merely 2-3 meters tall.
Behind the scenes
Geeot Nuetia was mentioned on a loading screen in the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies that was shown to players after the developers had added various "trophy creatures" to the game. The loading screen was titled "From the Front Page of the Coronet Gossip..." and was styled as a sensationalist newspaper story. Killing such creatures rewarded the players with a hunting trophy as decoration for their virtual homes.
