Gelagrubs, also known as Felucian ground beetles, were a species of insect[2] that were found in the forests[4] of the planet[5] Felucia[4] in the Outer Rim Territories.[5]
Biology and appearance[]
Majestic and highly squishy, Gelagrubs were the largest species of bug in the galaxy.[4] They had five pairs of legs for movement and their eyes were positioned on their head to spot aerial attacks.[1] The creatures had dark green skin with blue splotches that enabled them to blend into their environment.[1]
History[]
They were used as mounts by clone troopers during the Clone Wars.[3]
