Gemma was a pilot who served the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War between the Alliance and the Galactic Empire.[2] In 4 ABY,[1] the pilot was killed during the Battle of Endor, which took place over the moon Endor. After the battle, Gemma was recounted as a casualty of the endeavor alongside fellow pilots Snar, Reet, and half of Yellow Squadron.[2]

Gemma was mentioned in the first issue of the Star Wars: Shattered Empire comic-book miniseries. The issue was written by Greg Rucka and released by Marvel Comics[2] on September 9, 2015.[3]
