The Geo Beast was a large bipedal species resembling the Vorantikus of Voss.[3] Like the vorantiki, the geo beasts had two fingers on their long hands, two toes and a back-facing claw on their feet and black stripes running across their bodies.[1] They were covered in plating that was extremely resistant to heat.[4] Their spleen was specialized to filter radioactive materials from their bloodstream, and was extremely similar to the spleen of a Trinthan prowler native to Quesh.[4] Unlike the vorantiki whose bony spikes ended in rounded edges,[3] the spikes on the geo beasts had sharp pointy ends and were glowing with lava-like appearance along with their bodies.[1] The geo beasts started their lives as small larvae before eventually growing to enormous size as adults. They were abundant on the moon of Oricon[1] and were also found on Hoth around the Glacial Fissure area. The brains of geo beasts were harvested as a delicacy and served during the Feast of Prosperity event on Nar Shaddaa.[2]
