"Geonosis and Other Planets in the Outer Rim" is a volume in the Star Wars Encyclopedia series of reference books published by De Agostini. It was published on November 23, 2021.[2]
Publisher's summary[]
The remote confines of the Outer Rim were ideal places for organizations that wanted to go unnoticed to hatch and develop their most sinister plans. Precisely what the Separatists did on Geonosis, an apparently barren planet, but which, beneath its arid surface, concealed a frenetic civilization that manufactured the vast majority of droids used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. The planet was also the scene of the battle that inaugurated the conflict. Other Outer Rim worlds were almost as significant in galactic events without intending to be: the forested moon of Endor, a satellite teeming with natural life and inhabited by the small, furry Ewoks, would be a key stage in the Rebel Alliance's attempt to destroy the second Death Star. The help of the Ewoks proved decisive in bringing these plans to fruition.[2]
