- "Omg! He's so adorable!"
"Can I keep him, George? Can I hug him and pet him?" - ―George and George's associate
A Jawa bounty hunter was an associate of the alien George. The associate wore a breath mask, gloves, and brown robes.[1] In 9 ABY,[2] The Jawa and other members of the Bounty Hunters' Guild confronted Din Djarin and attempted to take Grogu. However, George found Grogu adorable, and George's associate expressed interest in hugging and petting the child, a tactic which Djarin and Grogu employed multiple times.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
George's associate is featured in a non-canonical section of Launchpad in Star Wars Insider 196 that was written by Jamie Cosley.[1]

"Launchpad" — Star Wars Insider 196 depicts the Bounty Hunters' Guild confronting Din Djarin in order to obtain the asset Grogu, which is something that begins in "Chapter 3: The Sin" and ends in "Chapter 8: Redemption." Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of "Chapter 1: The Mandalorian" and "Chapter 16: The Rescue" to 9 ABY. The events of Chapters 1 through 16 of The Mandalorian must therefore also take place in 9 ABY.
