George Takei, born April 20, 1937,[1] is an American actor well-known for his role as Hikaru Sulu on the sci-fi series Star Trek in the 1960s, as well as several of its spin-off movies.[source?]
He voiced the Neimoidian General Lok Durd in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.[2] With his role on The Clone Wars, Takei became the first Star Trek series regular to perform in a Star Wars production.[3]
