Gesha tea was a type of tea that was consumable by humans. It could be made with hot water and served in cups. During the Imperial Era, it was stored in a cabinet within the home of the civilians Esmelle and her wife, Shirene, on the Outer Rim planet Akiva.[1] In 4 ABY,[2] the rebel pilot Norra Wexley visited the home and used a kettle to make herself a cup of gesha tea.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Gesha tea first appeared in Aftermath, a 2015 novel written by Chuck Wendig.[1]

  2. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary dates the reunion of Norra Wexley and Temmin Wexley on Akiva, which occurs during the rebellion on Akiva, according to Aftermath, to thirty years before the Hosnian Cataclysm, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places in 34 ABY. The appearance of gesha tea occurs during Akiva's rebellion, meaning it must have been stored within the home of Esmelle and Shirene in 4 ABY.
