- "Something's coming up on us fast. It looks like a squadron of TIE Interceptors."
- ―Bo-Katan Kryze, to Din Djarin
A squadron of TIE/IN interceptors belonging to Gideon's Imperial remnant backed up the trio of TIE/sa bombers that destroyed Kryze Castle on Kalevala and forced its owner, Bo-Katan Kryze and her fellow Mandalorian Din Djarin to evacuate the planet[1] in 9 ABY[4] in order to protect Gideon's secret headquarters on Mandalore.[2] Djarin speculated that the six interceptors leading the attack belonged to an Imperial warlord taking revenge for one of the starships Kryze had attacked. However, the appearance of the rest of the force convinced Kryze that a more powerful Imperial figure was behind the unit, and Djarin advised to evacuate the planet, which Kryze reluctantly agreed on.[1] The squadron, reinforced with more interceptors from Captain Gilad Pellaeon and Brendol Hux's forces was later deployed from their Mandalorian hangars to attack the united Mandalorian fleet attempting to retake their homeworld.[2] However, the squadron was destroyed when Axe Wolves crashed Gideon's light cruiser into the base.
