Giggs was a female Gedonian ground weevil that lived during the High Republic Era. Around 233 BBY,[3] the young pilot Nash Durango was tasked to send her to an animal preserve on the forest planet Tenoo. On the way to Tenoo, Durango introduced the creature to two of her passengers, the Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar and Lys Solay. Despite Durango's warning that Giggs didn't like people, Solay started to pat the Gedonian ground weevil. To Durango's surprise, Giggs instantly took a liking to her.[1]
