Goliath Mal was a terrestrial astronomical object that served the food known as pickled coodler-roe as a culinary tradition. At some point, the human general Leia Organa visited Goliath Mal and partook in the dish as a diplomatic courtesy. While thinking about some of her past traveling experiences[1] in 5 ABY,[2] Organa reflected that she strongly disliked pickled coodler-roe's texture and remembered consuming it as unpleasant.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Goliath Mal was mentioned in Aftermath: Life Debt, a 2016 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the second installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1] The celestial body partially shares its name with Goliath, a Biblical character.[3]
