Goonral Monshi

Goonral Monshi[4] was a Latero[2] Jedi Knight[4] who operated during the High Republic Era and participated in the Assault on Mulita, where warriors of the Jedi Order and the Hutt Clan launched a joint offensive on the Great Progenitor and her Drengir progeny in the hopes of putting an end to the Drengir crisis. Monshi wielded a blue-bladed lightsaber.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

The Latero Jedi first appeared, albeit unidentified, in the eighth issue of the comic series Star Wars: The High Republic, written by Cavan Scott, illustrated by Ario Anindito, and published by Marvel Comics[2] on August 11, 2021.[5] Prior to his debut, he was first revealed on August 4 in a preview for the issue showcased on StarWars.com.[6]
