The Government District was a district of Coronet City, the capital city of Corellia. The location of most government structures in Coronet, the district was also home to the Port Pevaria spaceport, the Drall Library, and several museums. During the battle for control of Corellia in the Galactic War, the Government District was the site of fierce fighting between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, it had become known as the Governmental Sector.
