Governor of the Lothal sector, simply known as Governor of Lothal, was a title held by Ryder Azadi, Moff Stattata, and Arihnda Pryce at various times. After Azadi was imprisoned for his anti–Galactic Empire sympathies on his occupied homeworld of Lothal, Pryce was appointed Lothal's acting governor before being promoted to the full title, overseeing the Imperial occupation of Lothal during the insurgency there. Stattata also served as a governor during the insurgency. Following the Liberation of Lothal from the Empire, Ryder Azadi was reinstated as the Governor of Lothal under the New Republic's jurisdiction.

Description[]

Governor of the Lothal sector[4] was a title that was also referred to as Governor of Lothal.[5] The title was held by the political leader of the Lothal sector, which included the planet Lothal.[6]

History[]

GovernorPryce-USWNE

Arihnda Pryce was the governor of the Lothal sector at the start of the Galactic Civil War.

The Lothalite Ryder Azadi once served as Governor of Lothal, but his sympathies were with anti-Imperial voices and he was eventually imprisoned.[7] Following this, Arihnda Pryce was appointed the acting governor of Lothal by Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin and was scheduled for promotion to the full title of Governor of Lothal within a few years. She was granted as such[8] by 4 BBY.[9]

Moff Stattata held the title at the time of being charged by Leia Organa for the theft of her ships on Lothal under the Imperial Governor's administration during a rebel operation there[4] in 3 BBY.[10]

In 2 BBY,[11] Pryce, as Governor, oversaw Skystrike Academy alongside Agent[12] Alexsandr Kallus,[13] and in 1 BBY,[14] Pryce met her demise during the Liberation of Lothal,[15] which also saw the end of Imperial reign over the world.[16]

By 9 ABY,[17] under the rule of the New Republic; Azadi was reinstated as the governor of Lothal.[2]
