Granite slugs were a type of slug found on the planet Coruscant. During the Clone Wars, the Senate Rotunda Preservation Committee, a committee within the Galactic Republic's Galactic Senate, were responsible for exterminating granite slugs and keeping the Senate Rotunda in the Senate Building architecturally sound.[1]
Behind the scenes
Granite slugs were first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars roleplaying products.[1] Brill was original created for the Star Wars Legends continuity, where the character was first mentioned in the 1994 novel Jedi Search, which was written by Kevin J. Anderson.[2]
