A grappling line, also known as an electro grappling line, was a device designed to combat the abilities of the Jedi.[1][2]
Characteristics[]
A grappling line functioned much like a whipcord launcher, but instead fired a glowing yellow energized line that could not be cut by a lightsaber.[1] Mandalorian vambraces usually featured a grappling line.[3] Sabine Wren used a grappling line to entangle Kanan Jarrus, who was able to slash at the line and free himself—though did not cut the line.[1] Later, Sabine was able to fire the line accurately enough to retrieve the fallen Darksaber, in order to continue her duel with Kanan.[1]
