The Grathan weapons lab[2] was an area within the main compound of the estate of rogue Sith Lord Grathan on the reconstituted Sith Empire's capital of Dromund Kaas. During the Cold War,[1] several weapons were developed within Grathan's labs, including a prototype turret.[3]

The estate, and the weapons lab within it, first appeared in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) by BioWare[1] released on December 20, 2011.[4]
