The Great Assembly House,[4] also known as the Great Assembly,[5] was an imposing domed building[2] that housed the Planetary Council of the Outer Rim Territories planet Serenno[3] located in the city of Carannia. The building contained the Assembly Hall. The assembly hall contained the seals of the seven Great Houses of Serenno and a carving of the Tirra'Taka, an ancient reptilian dragon.[2]
Up to 90 BBY,[1] the Assembly Hall stood for generations and had survived invasion, storms, and revolutions. In 90 BBY, Jedi Initiate Dooku and Jenza, Dooku's sister, visited the main hall where a carving of the Tirra'Taka drew Dooku's attention. After Dooku touched the carving, a sudden earthquake occurred that caused the hall to collapse. The two children were later rescued by several Jedi Masters and rescue droids.[2]

Notes and references[]
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 According to Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, Dooku was 80 years old at the time of the First Battle of Geonosis. Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places the Battle of Geonosis in 22 BBY, placing Dooku's birth year in 102 BBY. The script of Dooku: Jedi Lost states that the destruction of the Great Assembly House takes place when Dooku is 12. From this it can deduced that the destruction occurred in 90 BBY.
