- "When I got the job on Rebels, the first thing I did was to re-watch all six films. I'd seen a few scattered episodes of The Clone Wars, so I started watching all of it."
- ―Greg Weisman
Greg Weisman (born September 28, 1963) is an American comic book and animation writer and producer. He is best known for creating the 1990s Disney animated series Gargoyles, as well as producing The Spectacular Spider-Man and Young Justice. He was an executive producer and the story editor on the first season of Star Wars Rebels,[1][2] but did not continue this role for any of the show's following seasons.[3] He did however write the Star Wars: Kanan comic series which expanded on the origins of Kanan Jarrus, one of the main characters of the show.
According to Greg, he also consulted and offered minor course corrections for the plot of the novel A New Dawn based on what he and the other writers were doing on the show.[4]
