The Ground Logistics Division (GLD) was a branch of the Resistance ground crew. Vober Dand served as a GLD controller[2] monitoring operations.[3] Due to the lack of help from the New Republic, Resistance members often had to do double duty as transport pilots or mechanics, applying their skills and technical knowledge to fight against the First Order. The organization was composed of Resistance pilots, and at one point, a Logistics Division Resistance transport came under attack by TIE/fo space superiority fighters above a celestial body.[4]
