Grunnrurr was a city that was part of the Wawaatt Archipelago on the Wookiees homeworld of Kashyyyk. During the Battle of Kashyyyk in the Clone Wars, the Wookiee Tarkov and his son Jaccoba discovered the Confederacy of Independent Systems invasion force. They warned the cities of the archipelago, but the cities, including Grunnrurr, soon fell to the droid invaders.
