Gud was the term that the Gungans of Naboo used for a "god". For the most part, this referred to the former Naboo inhabitants, the Elders, who built such locales as the Gungan Sacred Place in the Lianorm Swamp.
The principal Gungan Gud was Oma-Oma, who lived in Ossorus, a beautiful underwater city.
It was demanded by the Guds that all life debts must be repaid.
