The Guillotine was the saucer-shaped personal starship used by the Kyuzo bounty hunter Embo during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The vessel had an entry ramp and a private entrance used by Embo's anooba companion Marrok.[1] He would use the Guillotine for solo missions[2] as well as to transport himself to meet with other hunters for group operations.[1] In 19 BBY,[3] Embo used the Guillotine to travel to the planet Serenno along with Marrok to join the bounty hunters of Krayt's Claw in assisting their former associate Asajj Ventress on a mission to rescue the imprisoned Jedi Quinlan Vos.[1]
Behind the scenes[]

The Guillotine first appeared in Dark Disciple, a 2015 novel written by Christie Golden.[1] It was originally designed to appear in the "An Old Friend," a 2014 episode of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but was eventually cut from the episode. Concept art of the Guillotine's cockpit dated to February 9, 2011 was done by artist Russell G. Chong.[4]
