- "We ran for cover. HJ-377 went mad, ran out towards the treeline, firing until all his rifle did was make clicking noises."
- ―Imperial enlisted trooper
HJ-377 was a male soldier that fought for the Galactic Empire alongside another soldier during Emperor Palpatine's reign[1] before the year 1 BBY.[2] While fighting a rebel group, explosions and concussions shook the ground. Thinking it was the rebel fighters, HJ-377 went mad and ran towards a treeline, firing his rifle until it was empty. In fact, the attack came not from the rebels, but rather from orbit, and Imperial dropships soon arrived to help the Imperial soldiers.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
HJ-377 was first mentioned in the "Imperial dropship" entry in the in-game databank of the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 versions of the LucasArts video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, which was released in 2010.[1]
