A hampa on an ecorb's head.

"Ow! My head is killing me!"
"Get it off! Get it off!
―Two ecorbs crying after hampas suddenly sprouted on their heads[src]

A hampa was an irremovable shell-like protuberance in ecorbs' heads sprouted from the excessive ingestion of a particular orange and blue flower species. It was very painful for the wearer and ecorbs were known to be miserable as a consequence of growing hampas.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Hampas were featured in Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, a book published in 1993.[1] Lucasfilm employee Leland Chee, who maintains the Holocron continuity database, has indicated that information contained in the book is non-canonical.[2]
