The Hanna Institute of Antiquities was a museum and university located in Chandrila's capital, Hanna City.
Description[]
The Hanna Institute of Antiquities was located in Hanna City on Chandrila and was dedicated to the study and preservation of the galaxy's ancient past. Professors at the Institute would lead their students on excisions of archaeological study, bringing back artifacts to be studied and displayed in the Institute's showcases.[1] In the days of the Old and New Republic, it sponsored studies on Ossus.
The Institute consisted of several public galleries, with exhibits dedicated to Chandrilan history, the Ringali Shell, and the greater galaxy. Over time, the Institute featured artifacts and displays of Xim the Despot, the Pius Dea Crusades, Freia Kallea, and various Supreme Chancellors.[1] On 14:5:2 22 BBY, it hosted the "Cradle of the Galaxy" exhibit. After the Clone Wars and the rise of the Empire, the Institute housed an exhibit "The Courage of Palpatine," which was the worst attended in history.[1]
