Hanofar was a terrestrial[3] world[4] located in the Hanofar system, a part of the Southern Core portion of[2] the Colonies.[1] During the early years of the Galactic Civil War, a conflict fought between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance,[3] Hanofar was held by the Empire.[4]
At some point during that time, a rebel group on Hanofar engaged in protests against Imperial taxation. The protests grew violent, leading to[3] skirmishes with Imperial forces[4] and several innocent bystanders getting injured. Among the hurt was the mother of the Human male Vess Kogo.[3]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Hanofar was first mentioned in the Rebellion Era Sourcebook, a 2001 Wizards of the Coast supplement for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Hanofar system, and therefore the world Hanofar, within grid square L-13.[2]
