Dame Harriet Mary Walter, DBE (born September 24, 1950) is an English actress who portrayed Dr. Harter Kalonia in the film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens (2015).[2]
Walter portrayed Lady Shackleton in the television series Downton Abbey, has appeared in such films as Sense and Sensibility (1995) and Atonement (2007), and starred in the ITV drama series Law & Order: UK (2009–14). Walter was appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in 2011 for services to drama.[3] She is the niece of Christopher Lee, who portrayed Dooku in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones (2002) and Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith (2005).[4]
