"Remember that some of the greatest Mandalores were born or grew up far from our homeworld. Mandalore the Binder was born the son of a rug weaver on Harswee..."
―A Death Watch manifesto[src]

Harswee was a Mandalorian planet located within the Mandalore sector[2] of the galaxy's Outer Rim.[1] Luxurious loom-woven carpets were manufactured on Harswee, considered among the finest produced by the Mandalorian worlds. The starliner known as the Coronet—the personal starship of Duchess Satine Kryze of the New Mandalorians—made extensive use of Harswee carpeting.[2]

Remembered by the Mandalorian people as one of their greatest leaders, Mandalore the Binder hailed from Harswee, where he grew up the son of one of Harswee's rug weavers before ascending to the role of Mand'alor.[4]

Behind the scenesEdit

Harswee was first introduced into Star Wars canon via a mention in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars reference book Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Incredible Vehicles, authored by Jason Fry and published August 15, 2011. The planet was later mentioned again in Fry's later work with Daniel Wallace and Ryder Windham, the bounty hunter reference book The Bounty Hunter Code: From the Files of Boba Fett.
