The Heavy Battle Droid was a variant of the B1-series battle droid which was more heavily armored than the base model. They were armed with larger and more powerful blasters than the regular B1's E-5 blaster rifles, and wore larger "backpacks". It was used by the Trade Federation Droid Army during the time of the Invasion of Naboo.
